1955 Chevrolet Corvette
The 1955 Chevrolet Corvette is number 164 of 700 built for the model year finished in rare Pennant Blue over Beige interior with Tan top. It has 37000 original miles and is powered by a 265ci 195 hp V8 engine paired with a Power Glide automatic transmission. All components are original with correct numbers. The vehicle received a 97.8% Top Flight in June, 2019. Equipment includes the original Guide Lamp steel backed headlights, heater, re-furbished factory Wonderbar AM radio and working clock. The car has three point mounted shoulder belts which are necessary in the early C1’s due to the size of the steering wheel and were installed without drilling any holes or altering of body components. The car also includes a hidden retractable back-up light, sun visors and an outside right hand mirror also all installed without modification to vehicle componentry and can be easily removed if desired without any sign of previous installation. (Back-up Lamp Patent Pending with current owner)
Paint and exterior
The car had one repaint after being purchased by the late well known Corvette collector and Corvette Hall of Fame member, Bob McDorman, in 1980 from the original owner and then placed in his museum collection in Ohio.
Upholstery and interior

Mileage
Since the vehicle resided in the Bob McDorman museum for most of it's existence and the previous owners statement of "very rarely driving the car", it is believed, with high confidence, that the mileage is accurate.
