1929 Ford Model A (truck)
1929 Ford Model A Closed Cab Pickup. My grandparents were original members of the Flywheels Club in Ohio. My Grandma has been in the club since she was 17.
This vehicle came mostly built out of WI. I remember my Grandpa making the cherrywood bed when I was younger. The wood came from a downed tree that his friend gave him.
They drove this vehicle a lot! It is not a trailer rider... they would drive it hundreds of miles to Goodguys, NSRA and other events with their club.
Lots of components are from an Opal GT. People normally love how low it is to the ground... the front end is "in the weeds". Personally its a perfect combo of mean and cute.
Its a built small inside... I always say I love driving it but I love getting out of it even better!
Grandpa passed away year ago and the vehicle sat getting driven very little if at all for a few years. in 2016 grandma said come get it and drive it.
Upholstery and Interior
Won Best Interior at the Ohio State Fair ... I still have the plaque
My goal is to hit 40,00! I assume this was reset when my grandpa built the rod. My grandparents drove this to lots of cars shows across ohio and the surrounding states. South to Carolinas , TN , WV etc.
Wheels and tires
'80s era build wheels
Custom ... yikes.
