This car was originally purchased as a weekend car for the owners second home in East Hampton. During WWII the car was mothballed and the tires donated to a rubber drive. It was untouched until the owner's death in the early 60's. The car, except for the carpet and canvas, is all original. It won it's first CCCA badge (#244) in 1965. 185 of these cars were produced, about 15 still survive.
