Very rare 1980 Rover SD1 imported from England. Factory installed Buick 215 cubic inch (3.5 litre) V8. Automatic. Only 1200 imported as part of Rover's (British Leyland) attempt to gain entry to the US sports car market. This car needs a lot of work, but is very solid with minimal rust and no dents. It ran last in October of 2021, and has been stored inside since. The car is complete. The paint is original and thin. If you are looking for a mix of British styling with an American V8, like a Jensen Interceptor, this might fit the bill. The price is low, because it needs work. It is not running. Comes with a service manual, and there are many Rover SD1 enthusiasts groups on Facebook. Price is a give-away and is firm.
