If the Raptor version of Ford's F-150 pickup truck is a little bit plain vanilla for how you roll, you can now add some style, sound, and power to the package, but it's going to cost you some coin. Roush has announced the latest version of its take on the Raptor. The 2019 Roush Raptor has an exhaust system tuned with a more aggressive tone, unique exterior graphics, and, eventually, the ability to get up to 522 horsepower.
[Editor's note: A representative from Roush contacted us after publication that power and torque figures originally provided to Hagerty is "not a final figure," and that the official output will be released at a later date. For now, Roush is saying that its tuned Raptor will have "a sizable increase" in power and torque over the standard truck.]
Roush's modifications to the stock Raptor start with 35-inch BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires mounted on black 20-inch Roush off-road-spec aluminum wheels. A Roush axle-back exhaust system is added for a more sporting sounding exhaust note. If the Raptor's stock twin-turbo V-6's 450 ponies are not enough for you, an optional Performance Pac Engine Upgrade System will give you an additional 72 horsepower and 55 lb-ft of torque, raising the stock figures to 522/565. The power upgrades include a higher-flow-3.0 inch exhaust system, a Roush Cold Air Intake kit, and a reflash for the Engine Control Unit and are not available as of yet but should be released in a month or so.
The exterior has custom Roush graphics and the interior features a custom gauge cluster, the Roush logo embroidered on the seat headrests, and a numbered badge on the console. Besides the Performance Pac, options include a Roush Chase Rack for the roof, Rigid off-road lighting, a $390 lockable Console Vault, and an off-road utility kit.
The ROUSH Raptor package is priced starting at $13,000 (plus at least the $52,855 Ford's going to charge you for the actual truck) and comes with a 3 year, 36,000 mile limited warranty.
