Photo Gallery: The elemental Porsche 356 Speedster

For the Spring 2014 Special Client Edition of Hagerty Classic Cars Magazine took us back to the beginning of the bathtub-shaped phenomena better known as Porsche's 356 Speedster. Stripped down and elemental, the Speedsters were the fastest and cheapest road Porsches of their day. Now they are among the most coveted despite their humble spot in the company lineup of the day. All of Marc Urbano's stunning photos wouldn't fit into the article, so we wanted to make them available here.

Whoever redid this car must work for Jay Leno or someone who only hires the best talented ARTIST and CRAFTSMAN to create virtually a work of ART that everyone now can enjoy. Bringing back such an awesome vehicle is not easy requires incredible knowledge, skill, craftsman, and a feeling for what was created from Germany. But that said these cars are BETTER than the factory turned out after seeing original unrestored examples and restored examples such as this. People do care and this obviously shows. Yes it shows. 5 stars out of 5 would give it 6 but hey you can only go 100%....Good show....
