The fifth annual “Best of Britain” Classic Car Show at the Simeone Automotive Museum in Philadelphia will feature a tribute to Aston Martin on its 100th anniversary. The exhibit, which runs from March 23 to April 14, will feature more than 20 Aston Martins — from the oldest in the U.S. to several brand-new models.
The show will kick off with a launch party on Friday, March 22, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The focus of the evening will be a presentation by Dr. Simeone on the rich history of Aston Martin. This will be followed by a discussion led by Hagerty Classic Cars magazine Executive Editor Jonathan Stein with Dave Linfoot and Jim McHenry, former AM employees at their King of Prussia facility.
The show is expected to feature at least 20 examples of Astons, including a full range of post-war models, such as a DB 2/4 Series I and III, DB4, 5, 7, 9, S, Virage and Zagato. The show will also have three very rare competition Astons: a DB4 GT, a Lola Aston T-70 Mk III and an AMR1.
Presenting Sponsor for the 2013 Best of Britain is F. C. Kerbeck, Palmyra, N.J. Entry to the exhibit is included with regular museum admission.
