<p><ul><li><strong>The Hagerty Market Rating decreased for the third consecutive month</strong>, falling about a third of a point to 67.24.</li><li><strong>Auction activity saw another significant drop</strong> this month, as the <strong>number of cars sold at North American collector car auctions has fallen 8 percent over the last 12 months</strong>.</li><li>After a decrease last month, <strong>private sales activity grew almost a third of a point</strong>, as <strong>slightly more cars are selling above their insured value</strong>.</li><li><strong>Requests for value increases for broad market vehicles fell for the 13th consecutive month</strong>.</li><li><strong>Requests for value increases for high-end vehicles also decreased</strong>, but only by about half as much as did broad market vehicles.</li><li>Expert sentiment increased, but only slightly.</li><li>After a sizable increase for September, <strong>correlated instruments decreased</strong> this month.</li><li>September's reported rating was revised from 67.74 to 67.57 due to newly released inflation numbers.</li></ul></p>
