    My experience

    I have been with Hagerty for a few years now. I saw the advertisements on some of the shows I watch. I decided to look into them and have been a satisfied customer ever since. Last year while driving my car I had stopped at an auto store. While I was leaving a lady that was parked near me complemented me on my car. As I was leaving the same lady backed right into me she didn't look back when she was leaving. I was very angry but got all her information and took pictures. I came home and called Hagerty. They were on it and I was very pleased how they handled everything. They had someone at my house within a couple of days and I had a check real soon after. I was able to get it fixed at a shop of my choice. They came out after to look at the car to see how it came out. I had never been treated as such with any company I have dealt with. I have recommended Hagerty to people I talk to. Thanks Hagerty for treating me as a valued customer. Sal M.

    Review

    I want to thank Hagerty for your easy to deal with accidents. Several years ago I had accidents with 2 of my collector cars, 1941 Ford convertible and 1968 Shelby GT350 convertible both happening 4 days appart. The 1941 Ford was $38,000.00 and the Shelby was $2500.00. I called them and they were extremely helpful and didn't ask questions about my stupidity with the accidents. When it was all over, they paid immediately. I love you Hagerty!

    Very Pleased

    I have only needed to take advantage of Hagerty's services on two occasions, one was a tow and the other when I bumped my fender into the garage while backing into it. On both occasions the assistance was immediate, pleasant and extremely helpful. I wish all insurance companies were as user friendly.

    WOW!

    I have had Hagerty for many years and until the last week only sent them checks for coverage. They were always easy to do business with. Over the past week I had another insurance company of a fellow who backed into my Corvette deny their driver cause all the damage ($4500) and tried to send me a check for $1,471. I called Hagerty, they said file a claim...we will pay you and surrogate the other company. If we are successful, we will send you your $500 deductible back. Next day, I am driving a newly acquired 64 Ford home from about 120 miles away when I blow a time. Hagerty had the insurance with the former owner (still in force) and flat-bedded the car to a tire place....no hassle. It did take them along time to get too me (3 hours) but there were complications. THESE GUYS ARE AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!!

    Dropped after claim

    I was a Hagerty customer for several years with 3 vehicles covered. I was caught in a wind storm that damaged one of my vehicles. I filed a comprehensive claim and Hagerty took 3 weeks to inspect my vehicle. They paid the claim. I was then notified that I would be dropped from coverage for too many claims. Apparently Hagerty only likes money coming in and not going out. I only had one claim and it was a comprehensive claim which cannot count against the insured. When I complained and questioned them on the law, they agreed with me and said they were going to cancel me anyway. I would consider Hagerty a "fair weather friend", nothing more.

    Window installation

    I thought my insurance covered bad workmanship on my classic car. I thought it was good for up to $1,500 in labor and $500 in parts. I was surprised to find out that bad workmanship is not covered...fortunately I was only out $600....but this being said, Haggerty Representatives were professional & polite..I will call a representative to better understand my policy

    Insurance Test

    You'll never know how good your Insurer is until you file a claim. I did! It was sort of an unusual situation and the people at Hagerty handled it with the utmost of professionalism and speed. It's ALWAYS a pleasure dealing with this company and they remain courteous as always.

    my claim

    After a fire 2015 on my 68 Camaro the staff was very courteous and very prompt on my claim.Would recommend Hagerty to anyone.
