Our adjusters are on-staff specialists who work exclusively with collector vehicles. They receive extensive training and gain hands-on experience with classic vehicle repairs, including:

Guaranteed Value on total losses
Total losses are painful enough already, so we make the claims process easy. If you experience a covered total loss, our guaranteed value policy means if you decide not to keep your vehicle, we issue a check for its insured amount. It’s that simple.
You have repair options
Our main concern is making sure your car gets the proper repairs. That’s why we offer:
- Repair shop of choice – You’re in control when it comes to repairs for your car. You decide who should do the work on your car – not us. If you prefer, we’ll even pay you to do the work yourself.
- Appraiser network – Hagerty’s hand-picked network of independent appraisers have experience with collector vehicles and how to repair them.
- Total losses – You have the option to buy back salvage and rebuild the vehicle.

The right repair begins with the right parts, so we’re serious about tracking them down, with:
- In-house parts specialist – We have a team member whose only job is tracking down the perfect replacement part for your vehicle.
- Parts resources – We have a list of resources for locating hard-to-find parts.
- LKQ, OEM, or NOS parts preferred – We try everything possible not to use aftermarket parts.
Dedicated and efficient service
We’re here seven days a week if you need us. And with Hagerty’s online claims reporting, you can report your claim wherever and whenever it’s convenient, and we’ll respond within one business day. Plus, we offer:
- One estimate by a specialty appraiser – We assign an appraiser from your area, using our specialty network whenever possible, so our clients don’t have to seek out multiple estimates on their own.
- Calls on your behalf – We’ll call the shop to request an estimate and photos so you don’t have to.
- Fast claims processing – We pay the average damage claim within 15 days.
- Same-day glass claims – In most cases, glass claims are paid the same day.
- No depreciation or betterment – When figuring the amount the policy will pay, we do not consider depreciation or betterment.
