Hagerty’s Tour of LeMons will start at Laguna Grande Park in Seaside, Calif., on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m.  Mindy Kindelberger, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., won Hagerty's "Search for America's Sweetest LeMon" contest, and will serve as the tour's Grand Marshall in her 1970 Subaru 360 Deluxe sedan.

    The transmission frequently pops out of first gear. The transmission frequently will not engage reverse fully and grinds loudly when the clutch is released even though a new rear shift plate was installed at 40,000 miles. The engine pings continuously on all grades of gasoline sold in NY...87, 89 and 93 octane. Gas spews out of the gas tank when the gas pump automatically shuts off. When you take your foot off the accelerator it is very slow to slow the engine down and drop in RPMS. It has a "forever" warranty that apparently means nothing to Chrysler. The dealer tells me that as long as it is still operating it is filling the terms of the Warranty. UGH! I dont feel safe driving this car!

    I have a 1964 Plymouth belvedere 4 door that is pretty rough on the outside it is part original paint (green) and grey primer. Is this the type of cars that would be in the Tour of lemons in California??? My wife and I are considering driving our car from Ohio to be in the Tour of lemons but wanted to see if anyone could let us know if our car would fit in there.....Thanks
