Subaru 360 is voted America's Sweetest LeMon

The votes are in and a 1970 Subaru 360 Deluxe sedan affectionately named “Lil’ Cab” has won Hagerty’s 2nd Annual Search for America’s ‘Sweetest LeMon’ contest. The vehicle, owned by Mindy Kindelberger of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., received more than 30 percent of the votes, and Kindelberger and Lil’ Cab will serve as Grand Marshall for Hagerty’s Tour of LeMons in Seaside, Calif., on Aug. 18.
Owners of unique vehicles submitted photos of their cars and a brief description of why it deserved to win. The top 10 candidates were posted for public vote on Hagerty.com/sweetestlemon, and the winner will receive an all-expense-paid trip to the Tour of LeMons.
“Everyone in our hometown of Lake Havasu knows me for my car. People honk, take pictures and wave to me all the time,” says Kindelberger. “My husband and I both love collecting cars, especially the oddballs, which are the ones that always get the most attention.”
