BOATS ON THE BOARDWALK
Saturday August 1 | 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. | Traverse City, Michigan

The Antique and Classic Boat Society For wooden boat aficionados in northwest Michigan, there's no better time to see the classics of yesteryear than the ACBS Water Wonderland Chapter's Boats on the Boardwalk show. The 22nd annual event is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1, in Traverse City, Mich.

The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. along the downtown Boardman River boardwalk, located just a stone's throw from Grand Traverse Bay. The event draws many of the finest antique boats in Michigan and the Midwest. In addition to a display of more than 50 of these classic beauties, the festivities include music, venders and Hagerty's Youth Judging Program, where kids age 8-14 put on their judges' hats and vote for their favorites.

Hagerty's Youth Judging program was unveiled at last year's Boats on the Boardwalk event and is now included at several boat shows around the country. The program is part of Hagerty's initiative to promote the classic wooden boat hobby to young people. For more information contact Kelly McCann at 800-762-2628, ext. 8466, or kmcann@hagerty.com.

Hagerty will continue to commemorate its 25th Anniversary at events like Boats on the Boardwalk. For more information about the anniversary celebration, log onto www.hagertymarine.com.
