    First Claim Experience

    My 79 Bronco had an unfortunate experience this past spring. Started her up and backed out of the garage, left her running while i sweep the floor. She stalled and the horn started to blow, then tried to start, Smoke pouring out of the fenders...Holy Cow.! FIRE I Got the fire put out..Thank God. Then I started thinking... here we go I wonder what kind of run around will I get...Ugh Called Hagerty on Monday..the Gal in the office was Super..!, walked me through the whole process..the adjuster came out and in short order Hagerty had a check in my hand for the damage. I was very satisfied on how the whole process was handled.. I always said.."You do not know your insurance company until you have a claim" Thanks to all involved for making this a painless experience...!!!

    Annual Renewal Experience

    really pleasant to deal with on the phone. I didn't flinch this year when my premium went up about 5% (again), I come to expect it.

    Adding another motorcycle to my current policy

    I was very pleased to learn that adding a second "classic" motorcycle to my current policy was at a very reasonable rate. I've had my bikes for over 40 years and now being retired have one restored and the other to be completed soon. I won't be putting a lot of miles on either but it is nice to know I can keep them BOTH insured at a reasonable annual premium.

    Easy to deal with

    I contacted Hagerty for the first car and, had a live agent on the phone in minutes, we agreed on a value of my car and, within minutes I had an insurance card, with similar coverage to my current agent for about 65% less. My second classic was half that price!

    Very poor claims service

    Having the adjuster say I am sorry does not get it as they clipped my claim by $75.00. Imagine that, a Company as large as Hagarty clips my claim by $75.00. I have other cars with them and that will be changing soon. Insurance companies like to get the premiums but when payment of a claim is set forth they run like a heard of rats from a sinking ship. As Editor and Publisher for the 1949-53 Ford Mercury Association Newsletter, I must inform the world of this travesty. Enjoy the $75.00.

    Enjoyable experience

    Thank Goodness we have not had to take advantage of our coverage. We needed to up our coverage several years ago due to a car re-build. Talk about a trusting co. Nothing was required except our word of the upgrades made to our car. Hagerty trusted me and I will always trust Hagerty! Also, the Hagerty magazine is worth the price of admission. Keep up the good work!

    Top notch friendly service

    My regular insurance agent who originally obtained my Hagerty Insurance for me on my collector Z28 collector car is an Allstate agent and wasn't returning my calls to renew my policy so I called Hagerty myself and I was glad I did as your rep was very kind and professional to the point where I just cut out my Allstate rep and now deal directly with Hagerty! Keep up the great customer service as it is very refreshing in this day and age! Sincerely, Mark E customer for life!
