Hagerty Plus
FREE 30-Day Roadside Assistance Details

Hagerty Plus pays for the first 50 miles (from point of pickup to destination) of emergency flatbed towing or the first $100 of other roadside services (fuel delivery, battery jump, etc.) for the vehicle purchased through eBay Motors. Service is limited to a single incident occurring during your active free 30-day period.

  To Obtain Emergency Roadside Assistance:

1. You must call our toll-free Emergency Roadside Assistance Hotline at 888-310-8020 and select menu option 1 to obtain service. There is no reimbursement for services we do not dispatch.

Our customer service representatives are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When calling, be prepared to:

  • Identify yourself as a participant in the Free 30-Day Program through eBay Motors.
  • Give the year, make and model of the disabled vehicle.
  • Give the location of the disabled vehicle. If you don't have an address, you can use a mile marker, highway number, crossroads or any landmark that will assist the service provider in locating your vehicle.

Please note: If you are in an emergency situation such as a vehicle fire, call 911 or other emergency service number immediately.

2. If the amount due exceeds your benefit level, you'll need to pay the service provider for any amount over your benefit allowance.

Safety in the Event of a Breakdown:

If your vehicle is in an unsecured location and subject to potential vandalism or theft, consider staying with your vehicle and asking another motorist to contact us so we can provide your road service. Give the person who is making the call for you your name, location, make and model of the vehicle needing service and the Emergency Roadside Assistance 888 phone number.

An immediate assessment of your surroundings and whether you personally may be subject to a safety hazard should be of primary concern. Do not remain in an unsafe area due to your concern for your vehicle. In a situation like this, we recommend you move to a location you deem safe and secure until service arrives.

Always give the service operator the safe location where you'd like the service provider to pick you up. This location should have protection from crime, automotive traffic and the elements.

If you are subject to any of the above unsafe conditions, make sure to contact the local state police, highway patrol or local sheriff's office for assistance. If you have a breakdown on a highway, never attempt to cross traffic lanes.
