VIP Judges select Monica Taeschner as Hagerty’s Young Designers Contest winner!
Congratulations to Monica Taeschner who was selected as the first place winner of Hagerty’s Young Designers Contest by a panel of five VIP judges at the Hagerty reception in Monterey, Calif.! The judging panel included McKeel Hagerty, CEO of Hagerty Insurance, Wayne Carini, host of Discovery’s HD Theatre “Chasing Classic Cars,” Dutch Mandel, associate publisher and editorial director of AutoWeek magazine and Stewart Reed, chairman of the Transportation Design Department at the Pasadena Art Center College of Design. Monica’s design imagined what a 1963 Ferrari 330 TRI/LM Testa Rossa would look like if built in the year 2060. It won top honors based on originality, workmanship, creativity, complexity and effort.
