For more than a century, automotive designers have combined the needs of society with their passions, ideas and personalities to produce functional, yet personable automobiles. These vehicles are more than just means of transportation - they are masterpieces of art, beauty, technology and purpose. Many of the automobiles built today incorporate the design features of collector cars with modern technology.
Now, it's your turn to combine your art skills, personality and creativity into your very own masterpiece - the futuristic design of your favorite collector automobile as it would look if built 50 years from now in 2060!
The Assignment:
If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, this is your opportunity to bring together your art skills and creativity in the creation of an original design of your favorite collector automobile as it would look 50 years down the road. How will it be steered? What power source will it use? What features will set it apart from other cars? Don't limit yourself to what is currently available in the automotive industry - be unique, be daring, be YOU!
