Hagerty Insurance and Passport Transport's "Revenge of the Nerd-Mobiles" Sweepstakes.

Home
Ask a car person who was around in the 70’s what car was affectionately known as“fishbowl” or “egg on wheels” and chances are, he or she will answer “the AMC Pacer, of course”. Manufactured from 1977 to 1980 in Kenosha, Wisconsin by American Motors Corporation, the last of the independent non-Big Three auto companies, the Pacer made an indelible impression on 1970’s pop culture.

The Pacer that our lucky winner will drive away in is a very rare 1978 Pacer DL Coupe. Only 7411 were produced and it is unclear how many of these remain. It is a largely rust-free Florida car with only 81,000 miles, complete service records going back to 1987 and the original owner’s manual. It is equipped with cruise control, tilt wheel, velour upholstery, factory in-dash AM/FM CB radio, white sidewall tires and full wheel covers.
