A replica car is a reproduction of an automaker’s manufactured vehicle. They
can either be professionally assembled or home-built and because of this they
will vary greatly in their level of quality. Hagerty does not offer insurance
on inexpensive, home-built kit cars. Replica cars should duplicate
vehicles that are no longer in production. Some examples are the 1950’s Porsche
Speedster and 1920’s Mercedes Benz Roadster. Cobra Replicas do not
qualify for coverage.
